MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College wrestling team recorded its highest-ever team finish at the Millersville Open on Sunday, collecting 36.5 points as seven different Falcons earned a top-three finish in their respective weight classes.
"I'm proud of the effort today; Our highest team finish in program history," said Head Wrestling Coach
Alex Depew. "Andi continues to win big matches and improve. Even as a first-year, she isn't satisfied with second. Alaina had a 4-1 day and battled back for third. Janeyda wrestled her best this season. Madacyn knocked off a national qualifier. And of course, Mel winning after finishing second last season is the cherry on top of a great day. Every wrestler contributed and helped the team. Back to work on Tuesday as we prepare for Muhlenberg."
