ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College track & field team had its final meet before conference championships at the Blue Jay Tune-Up on Friday and Saturday at Elizabethtown College. The Falcons finished 10
th as a team with 17 points.
In the 100-meter dash, first-year
Alyssa Maldonado (Delmar, Md./Parkland) ran a time of 13.55 seconds, followed by classmate
Emily Matoushek (Waymart, Pa./Forest City Regional) in a time of 14.83 seconds.
Sophomore
Krishana Brooks (Long Branch, N.J./Long Branch) crossed the finish line in 29.19 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
First-year
Erica Cook (Deming, Wash./Mount Baker) registered a time of 1:08.50 in the 400-meter dash, finishing 21
st.
First-year
Giada Smith (Springtown, Pa./Palisades) was the lone participant for the Falcons in the 800-meter event, posting a personal record time of 2:52.47.
Cedar Crest had three representatives in the 1500-meter run.
Katherine Garcia () paced the Falcons with a personal record time of 5:44.48. Senior
MacKayla Reed (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg Area Senior) followed with a time of 6:09.67. Junior
Lauren Davis (Oley, Pa./Oley Valley) closed out the Cedar Crest participants, recording a time of 6:48.28 for a personal-best.

Bella Bozen (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) led the Falcons in the discus, finishing sixth with a mark of 31.75 meters. Classmate
Alana Connor (Manassas, Va./Charles J. Colgan) took 14
th with a throw of 26.68 meters.
Cedar Crest had six representatives in the hammer throw. Connor took sixth with a personal-best mark of 34.85 meters. Bozen followed in 11
th with a throw of 31.22 meters for a personal record. Sophomore
Courtney Gibbons (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) finished 16
th with a mark of 25.64 meters. First-year
Gracie Domingo-Whitfield (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) recorded a personal record of 25.29 meters. First-year
Jemma Cazabon (Charleston, S.C./Philip Simmons) and senior
Heaven Bethea (Boynton Beach, Fla./South Tech Academy) posted marks of 21.93 meters and 20.51 meters, respectively.
Sophomore
Tianlly Davila (Frederick, Md./Governor Thomas Johnson) collected a personal record of 3.69 meters in the long jump.
Connor guided the Falcons in the shot put with a mark of 9.47 meters, which placed her 12
th. Domingo-Whitfield had a personal-best throw of 7.75 meters.
The 4x400-meter relay team of senior
Linsey Nester (Mohrsville, Pa./Hamburg), Garcia, Brooks, and Cook ran a time of 4:37.66.
In the javelin, Bozen placed third with a throw of 30.74 meters. First-year
Symarah Drey (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) recorded a throw of 18.84 meters.
Cedar Crest will now turn its attention to the United East Conference Championships, which will take place at Gallaudet University on May 3 and 4.
