ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Four student-athletes from the Cedar Crest College softball team earned Academic All-District® selections by College Sports Communicators (CSC), as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Falcons' honorees were:
Laney Ferraro (Philadelphia, Pa./New Foundations Charter)
Kate Gronkowski (Hanover Township, Pa./Hanover Area Junior Senior)
Natalie Hasert (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Township)
Alex Mullen (Prospect Park, Pa./Interboro)
To be selected Academic All-District®, a student-athlete had to have been at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
