Audra Leiter (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Township) of the Cedar Crest College lacrosse team was tabbed as the United East Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Leiter recorded 10 ground balls and six caused turnovers in a 1-1 week for the Falcons. She began the week with eight ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 19-6 win over Bryn Mawr and then tallied two ground balls and three caused turnovers in a loss to the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Leiter also pitched in two points on a goal and an assist.
Leiter and Cedar Crest (5-3 overall) begins a five-game homestand on Wednesday, March 25 against Eastern University at 6:00 p.m.
