LATHAM, N.Y. – First-year Laila Stevenson (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) of the Cedar Crest College track & field team was recognized as the United East Conference Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.

Stevenson finished 11th out of 44 total 400-meter dash participants at the Coach P Invitational at Moravian University with a time of 1:00.22, breaking the school record. This is also the 19th fastest time in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Stevenson and the Falcons return to the track on Friday, April 24 at the Blue Jay Tune-Up at Elizabethtown College.
