In the first meet of the season and the first in program history, the Cedar Crest College Falcons swim team took to the history books this afternoon as they took on Cabrini College and King's College in a Double Dual meet.

Coaching in his first meet as a college head coach, Coach Vossler admitted to having some pre meet jitters, "It's always an exciting and nervous time for any team, but today absolutely"

The Falcons who are in their first seaso of competition, have high hopes as the season begins and they look to their schedule.

For the Falcons, Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School) was a double winner collecting wins in the 50 freestyle with a winning time of 25.62 and then again in the 100 freestyle with a winning time of 59.67.  Olock would also team with Liana Riutort (East Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg High School), Madeline Young (Waldorf, MD/North Point High School) and Dallas NIcolette in the 400 Medley Relay as the team would finish fourth.

Other standouts for the Falcons included Madeline Young (Waldorf, MD/North Point High School)'s 200 Breaststroke time of 3:02.63 good enough for 3rd place overall.

The Falcons will open up NEAC competition next weeked as they travel to Washington DC to take on Gallaudet University at 1:00 PM.
