Rain a non-factor as Tennis Dominates Notre Dame (MD)

Allentown, PA - The Cedar Crest tennis team redeemed themselves today after they fell yesterday, to come on top after today's match up against the Notre Dame of Maryland Gators 8-1.

In doubles action; Jamie Wojciechowski (Archbald, PA/Valley View) and Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) would dominate in their number 1 doubles spot as they came on top with a win of 8-2. Olga Cauble (Concord, NH/Concord) and Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake) would also dominate their doubles game as they won, only giving up one game at 8-1. Taylor Doran (Petaluma, CA/Casa Grande) and Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math) would continue their winning streak as they swept their opponents 8-0.

In singles action; Wojciechowski would perform well to come out on top 8-4. Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) was unable to defeat her opponent as she fell 8-4. Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math) would continue to dominate for the day as she swept by her opponent 8-0. Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake) would also dominate in her singles matchup as she downed her opponent 8-1. Olga Cauble (Concord, NH/Concord) and Taylor Doran (Petaluma, CA/Casa Grande) would also dominate their games, adding to the sweeping list as the both won 8-0.

With the win, the Falcons are now 6-7 overall and will return to the court on Monday October 13th at home at 4pm.
