Allentown, Pa- The Cedar Crest tennis team wrapped up their last home match with a win over the Rosemont Ravens. 

In doubles action; Jamie Wojciechowski (Archbald, PA/Valley View) and Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) would come on top at number 1 with a hard fought battle defeating their opponents 9-7. At number 2 doubles Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake) and Olga Cauble (Concord, NH/Concord) would also play some tight competition as they won their game 8-6. Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math) and Taylor Doran (Petaluma, CA/Casa Grande) would have a much easier path to victory as they dominate their game to win 8-0.

In singles action, Wojciechowski won her matchup 6-0,6-3. Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) would drop her game at number 2 7-5,6-2 at number 2 singles. Senior Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math) would perform well to win her game 6-0,6-2. Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake) would have a similar performance as she came on top with a 6-1,6-0 win. At number 5 singles, senior Olga Cauble (Concord, NH/Concord) would win her game 6-0,6-2. Sarah Babbie (Champlain, NY/Northeastern Clinton Central) would seal the deal for the Falcons at number 6 singles with a 6-1,6-2 win.

With the win, the Falcons now hold a record of 7-8 and return to the courts on Saturday October 18th as they take on Gwynedd Mercy away at 1pm.
