Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake) and
Olga Cauble (Concord, NH/Concord) defeated the Giants 8-4. Doubles team
Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math) and
Taylor Doran (Petaluma, CA/Casa Grande) played a shoutout match, defeating their opponents 8-0 in the third game.
In singles action, the Falcons won 5 out of 6 matches against the Giants. In the first match,
Jamie Wojciechowski (Archbald, PA/Valley View) won in straight sets against Giants opponent, only letting up one game with a score of 6-1 and 6-0. In the second game,
Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) fell to the Giants in a hard fough three setter with a score of 6-7 (3-7) 7-5, 13-11. At number 3 singles,
Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math) continued her winning streak as she defeated the competition with set scores of 6-0 and 6-1.Â
