ResultsThe Cedar Crest College swimming team took to the road for a NEAC showdown with the top two teams in the conference SUNY-Coblesksill and host Cazenovia College.

The Falcons got up to a fast start placing second and seventh overall in the 200 Medley relay with a time of 2:09.33 and 2:30.91. Individually for the Falcons
Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) would start the Falcons off placing third overall in the 1000 freestyle nearly missing the school record with a time of 13:57.06.Â
Nithya Lakshminarayanan (Newtown, PA/Council Rock North ) would swim to a third place finish in the 200 freestyle (2:16.41) the 100 breaststroke (1:18.23) and the 200 breaststroke (2:50.35). Freshman Brianna Hall would win three more times to stay undefeated in individual competition winning the 50 freestyle (25.45) the 100 freestyle (56.47) and the 100 butterfly (1:04.39). Senior
Olga Cauble (Concord, NH/Concord) would finish third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:16.05 while sophomore
Liana Riutort (East Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg High School) would place fourth overall with a time of 1:16.87.

The Falcons now sit at 3-5 overall and finish with a conference record of 3-2 for the 2014 semester. The Falcons will take a week off before returning to the pool at the Drew Invitational set for December 5
th – 7
