ALLENTOWN, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College swim team lost 97.5-79.5 against John Jay College in their final home meet of the season on Friday night.

The 200 yard medley relay team of sophomores Olivia Lopez (Brandywine, MD /Gwynn Park ), Nithya Lakshminarayanan (Newtown, PA/Council Rock North ), Taylor Marshall (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck ), and junior  Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School) finished first in the with a time of 2:12.23. Junior Ciara Lane (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) finished second for the Falcons in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:16.30. Lakshminarayanan tied for first in the 50 yard freestyle to split the first place points at 6.50 a piece.Olock finished first in the 100 yard IM with clocking in at 1:05.96.

Lane also finished the 50 yard butterfly in 31.14 for another first place time. Marshall finished second in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:07.34. Lopez took second in the 50 yard backstroke with Lane finishing in third with times of 1:07.34 and 1:12.89. Lakshminarayanan took second in the the 500 freestyle as junior Hali Sampson () took third placing times of 6:14.80 and 7:22.27 respectively. Olock finished first for the Black and Yellow in the 50 yard breaststroke with a time of 31.65.

With the New Rochelle meet not being rescheduled at this time the next meet for Cedar Crest will be on February 12 as they head to the NEAC Championships to round out there season.
