ALLENTOWN, Pa.--- The Cedar Crest College swim team hosted Senior Day as the team welcomed Cazenovia College and Gallaudet University in a North Eastern Athletic Conference tri-meet on Saturday afternoon in Rodale Aquatic Center. The Falcons defeated the Bison 139-59 while falling to Cazenovia 119-86.
Cedar Crest began the meet with a win in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:01.15 by senior
Ciara Lane (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area), junior
Nithya Lakshminarayanan (Newtown, PA/Council Rock North ), freshman
Madison Wagner (/oley valley) and senior
Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School).

Natalie Bennington (/Scranton) finished third and fourth in the 1000 yard freestyle with times of 12:55.94 and 13:26.35.
Wagner finished with the top time in the 200 yard freestyle, touching the pads at 2:16.68.
Olock took first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.86 as freshman
Dawn Cortright (/Warrenhills Regional ) took fourth touching at 30.05.
Lane brought in another nine points for the Falcons with a final time of 1:07.50 in the 100 yard IM.
Wagner finished second in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:11.44 while junior
Taylor Marshall (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck ) finished fourth at 1:22.05.
Cortright took second in the 100 yard freestyle as she finished at 1:05.41.
Lane was neck-and-neck with Cazenovia in the 100 yard backstroke that came down to .08 of a second for a second place finish, while
Marshall finished third in the event at 1:17.27.
Lakshminarayanan took second in the 500 yard freestyle event with a time of 6:08.68 while
Bennington came in fourth with a time of 6:33.44.
Olock clocked in at 1:12.11 for a first place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke. The 400 yard freestyle relay team took second place as
Bennington, freshman
Cassandra Rejgers,
Marshall and
Cortright finished with a time of 4:45.92.
The next meet for the Falcons is at the Drew Invitational on Friday, December 2 and December 3 in Madison, New Jersey.
