ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Cedar Crest College swim team hosted NCAA Division II Kutztown University on Saturday afternoon, falling 93-137. The Falcons recognized their three seniors, Tiffany Cuth (Walnutport, Pa./Northampton), Nithya Lakshminarayanan and Olivia Lopez (Brandywine, MD /Gwynn Park ). 

In the first event, the 200 Yard Medley Relay, the Falcons took third and fourth with times of 2:14.93 and 2:40.34. Lakshminarayanan came in fourth place during the 1650 Yard Freestyle at 20:48.30. Emily Klenk (Denver, CO/Monarch) placed fifth at 21:44.99. In the 200 Yard Freestyle, Tessa Stegura and Lopez placed fifth and sixth with times of 2:22.20 and 2:28.32, respectively. 

The fourth event, the 50 Yard Backstroke, the Falcons took fourth, fifth, and sixth. Klenk and Marissa Madson (/Franklin) took third and fourth in the 50 Yard Breaststroke, touching the pad at 45.12 and 49.42. In the 100 Yard Butterfly, Autumn Kidulic (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) placed second at 1:11.88 with Cassandra Reijgers (Hollis, NH/Hollis Brookline) coming in right behind her at 1:29.91. 

Taking first and second in the 500 Yard Freestyle were Klenk and Cuth, coming in at 6:31.73 and 8:23.03. In the 50 Yard Butterfly, Sierra Ressler took first with a time of 35.74. Touching the pad right behind her was Madson at 50.44. In the 100 Yard IM, Cedar Crest placed first and second with Stegura and Emily Badman (Pennsburg, Pa./Perkiomen) coming in at 1:20.42 and 1:22.65. To end the meet, the Falcons took first and second in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with times of 1:55.98 and 2:10.06.

The next meet for the Falcons is home on January 12 against St. Joseph's College in Long Island. The meet is set to start at 1:00 PM.
