EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College swimming and diving team fell to East Stroudsburg University, 124-90, on Saturday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.
The first event of the afternoon was the 800-yard freestyle relay. The team of junior
Megan Fiedler (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge Senior), junior
Abbey Mower (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional), senior
Rachael Alulis (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall), and senior
Zaria Berry (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) finished in second place with a time of 9:46.57.
The Falcons' 200-yard medley relay team of Mower, Alulis, sophomore
Taylor Davis (Wilmington, Del. /Newark), and Fiedler captured four points with a second-place finish in a time of 2:21.66.
Fiedler took second place in the 1,000-yard freestyle, completing the event in 12:46.12. Mower and sophomore
Rebekah Carty (Quakertown, Pa./21st Century Cyber Charter ) placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
Berry and first-year Meghan Drum recorded fourth and fifth-place finishes, respectively, in the 200-yard freestyle.
Mower was the lone Cedar Crest swimmer in the 50-yard breaststroke event and took third with a time of 39.77.
Event seven was the 100-yard butterfly. Alulis, first-year
Madison Smith (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area), and junior
Corrine McClain (Willingboro, N.J./Holy Cross Preparatory Academy) placed fifth through seventh, respectively.

Alyssa Reinhart (Easton, Pa. /Easton) led the Falcons with top-five finishes in the 100-yard freestyle. Smith had a time of 1:17.91 while Reinhart recorded a time of 1:26.83.
Cedar Crest had the only two participants in the 100-yard backstroke. McClain touched first with a time of 1:39.83 while Reinhart followed (1:46.93).
The Falcons took second and third in the 100-yard breaststroke. Davis finished second (1:25.61) while Drum followed (1:26.41).
Cedar Crest had the second, third, and fourth-place finishers in the 500-yard freestyle. Fiedler was the top Falcon in the event, registering a second-place finish (6:03.40).
McClain won the 50-yard butterfly to capture nine points for the Falcons. She registered a time of 38.87.
Event 14 of the day was the 100-yard IM. Alulis and Smith took second and third, respectively.
The last event of the day was the 200-yard freestyle relay and the Falcons finished first and second. The team of Berry, Drum, Davis, and Fiedler won the event with a time of 2:00.39.
Cedar Crest (0-2 overall) hosts Immaculata University and Moravian University in a double-dual meet on Saturday, October 29 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
