ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Senior
Brittney Dunleavy (Auburn, Pa./Blue Mountain) and freshman
Tiffany Kuras (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) of the Cedar Crest College track & field were recognized by the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) in the latest release of its weekly awards on Monday afternoon.
Dunleavy ran for an ECAC qualifying time and a program record in the 100-meter hurdle event with a time of 17.74 seconds at the Coach P Invitational hosted by Moravian University on Saturday. She also finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdle event with a time of 1:17.87.
Kuras receives another weekly honor following a third-place performance in the javelin event at the Coach P Invitational. She threw for a mark of 35.71 meters, a distance of which beat out six NCAA Division I athletes.
Cedar Crest will return to the track on Saturday, April 30 at the Monarch Open hosted by King's College (Pa.).
