EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College wrestling competed in its first-ever meet at the East Stroudsburg Open on Sunday morning.

Adriana Dias () received a bye in the Round of 32 and then fell to Sacred Heart University first-year Nohea Moniz by a 4-0 score at 116. Dias was then defeated by East Stroudsburg's Dayana Hoyos in the consolation round, 4-0.

Brooke Holley (Elkton, Md./Elkton) was the Falcons' lone participant at 130. She was defeated by King University's Montana DeLawder, 8-0, and then lost to Gannon's Jaden Bazemore in the consolation round, 4-0.

Draydon Charman (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Township) competed at 155 for the Falcons. She fell by a 10-0 score in the Round of 32 to Samantha Adams of Brock University. Charman took part in the consolation round and was defeated by Love Daley of Wyoming Seminary.
The final participant for Cedar Crest was first-year
Ellie Terranova (Wilmington, Del./Mount Pleasant) at 191. She had a bye in the Round of 32 and competed against Jhanae Douglas of Elmira College. Douglas took the victory by fall at 2:38, 8-1. Terranova then suffered a loss via fall to ESU's Felisha Smith at 3:22 in the consolation round.
The Falcons will return to action on Sunday, January 8 in the Warrior Duals Round Robin Invitational at East Stroudsburg University.
